The Last Voyage of the Demeter Review

The narrative chronicles the ill-fated journey of the merchant ship Demeter, which transports mysterious cargo from Carpathia to London. Unbeknownst to the crew, the cargo includes Dracula, who begins to prey upon them during the voyage. Critics have noted that while the film offers a fresh perspective on the Dracula tale, it suffers from lackluster execution that undermines the story's claustrophobic tension.
ROTTEN TOMATOES

Despite its atmospheric visuals and strong performances, particularly by Hawkins and Dastmalchian, the film's pacing and predictability have been points of critique. Overall, "The Last Voyage of the Demeter" provides a unique yet flawed addition to the Dracula cinematic lore.
